This type of rotary rock drilling uses compressed air to remove rock cuttings from borehole and cool the tricone drill bit eliminating the introduction of water to the borehole. This is especially popular in the Environmental well installation field.
Conventional drilling system used for overburden drilling applications. • Solid Stem augers used primarily for geotechnical drilling in consolidated soils. • Hollow Stem Augers 2 3/4”, 4 1/4”, 6 1/4”, 10 1/4” used for unconsolidated soils, wet conditions and monitoring well installations.

With our new ‘A5’ heli portable diamond drill we offer remote access exploration services. The A5 is capable of 2800 feet PQ, 3500 feet HQ, 5000 feet NQ, 6000 feet BQ.
We use 4" and 6” CME continuous sampler systems.
Our CME 45 is equipped to hammer split samplers with the “Tower Down” allowing ‘normal’ drilling services to be performed under bridges, inside buildings (10 feet) and other unusual places.
Typically used in deep exploration drilling, this classic drilling method uses drilling mud to stabilize the borehole, remove cuttings, suppress downhole water and gas pressure, and lubricate the drilling string. Aardvark carries a wide variety of muds including a polymer and additive free mud for sensitive environmental drilling.

Our large diameter wireline retrievable soil coring system is capable of gathering high quality continuous overburden and rock samples for hydrogeolists, geological mapping and large diameter environmental applications.
Diamond drilling with water allows us to retrieve 5-foot continuous core samples of bedrock formations via wireline. (Air coring is offered) Aardvark uses NQ, HQ and PQ sizes depending on applications and requests.
We offer a full decommissioning service for monitoring wells and other types of wells not in service. We have MOE certified well technicians on staff to help with individual abandonment situations.
> Well Maintenance & Rehabilitation Landowners (Industrial, commercial and private) are often unaware of standpipes or even monitoring wells on there property or if they are aware they may not know the status, condition, use, or locations of these wells. To compliment our abandonment service we are now providing well maintenance, rehab and repair services.
