Project Type: Geotechnical Drilling

Geotech drilling is used largely for collecting soil and rock cores for geologists, geophysicists  and engineers. Like environmental drilling, these samples are used to determine ground formation characteristics and to gather information about water beneath the surface. For high quality sampling and testing it is imperative there be little to no contamination so as clear a picture as possible can be formed of the subsurface conditions. This kind of geotechnical exploration can be used as part of the preparation for construction projects as well as for mineral exploration.

Aardvark uses a variety of all terrain drilling equipment and techniques that include auger, mud rotary, air rotary, and rock coring. Our expertise ensures work of the best quality that meets the highest safety standards.
