Aardvark opened its doors in March of 2002 with two drill rigs (one in Ontario and one in Bermuda), two employees, and one client. The company now operates eight drill rigs, employs over 20 people, and serves engineering & planning firms, mining companies, exploration groups, public and private sectors and government.

Aardvark is owned by Matthew England, President and Darren Juneau, Vice President. Matthew has more than 17 years of drilling experience and has logged over 28,000 hours of drilling throughout Ontario and Bermuda. Darren has worked in the drilling and engineering field for more than 17 years and is a Certified Engineering Technologist with a degree in Civil Engineering and diploma in Geotechnical Technology.

Aardvark is a licensed Well Contractor through the Ministry of the Environment and employs certified CMT installers, licensed Well Technicians and Assistant Wells Techs and First Line Supervisor for Blow Out Prevention. All employees have WHMIS, propane handling, fire extinguisher, fall arrest and the majority of Aardvark’s employees have received First Aid training from the Canadian Red Cross.
