Here at Aardvark Drilling, we are proud to be able to give back a little bit. On a regular basis, we sponsor, support and donate time to charities and organizations that we feel play a special role in helping others. Below are some examples of how we've given back...

Movember

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer.

Western Region Ringette

Aardvark Drilling sponsors the Western Region 2011-2012 "AAA" Ringette All Star Team. The team plays at the highest level of ringette in Ontario and Aardvark Drilling's support will help the team with the cost of attending Challenge Cups and the the 2012 Ontario Winter Games. The 2012 Ontario Winter Games take place in Collingwood in March, 2012.

Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada

The mission of the MS Society of Canada is to be a leader in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life. Aardvark Drilling has sponsored riders in the MS Bike Tour, a pledge-based fundraising event that provides the opportunity to ride through scenic and often spectacular parts of the country.

Canadian SADS Foundation

The Canadian Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes (SADS) Foundation is a registered Canadian charity committed to saving the lives and supporting the families of children and young adults who are genetically predisposed to sudden death due to heart rhythm abnormalities.

Because I am a Girl

Plan International’s Because I am a Girl initiative is a social movement to unleash the power of girls and women to claim a brighter future for girls in the developing world. When some local kids asked us to match their earnings from a garage / bake / lemonade sale we just couldn't say no. You can read their letter right here.

KWWRHL

The purpose of the K-W Women's Recreational League (KWWRHL) is the development of women’s ice hockey as a recreational sport, in the spirit of fellowship and fair play. Recognizing the demand for a women's recreational hockey league in the Waterloo area, and a need to provide a welcoming environment for women trying hockey for the first time, the league was created in 1997.

Drugs & Addiction Magazine

Helping kids grow up healthy and drug free. In this cutting edge publication, a professional substance abuse therapist talks directly to young people about the perils of drug use and abuse. This outstanding resource material is acclaimed by teachers, police services and drug abuse counselors as a serious tool in the war on drugs that is going on in our schools and on our neighborhood streets.

Lifewater Canada

Lifewater.ca is a group of volunteers that trains, equips & supports the rural poor in Haiti & Africa to drill wells and build washrooms. You are connected with overseas villages that can't afford the full cost of critically needed water & sanitation facilities. Your sponsorship saves the lives of children and dramatically improves educational opportunities for young girls.

World Vision

Around the world, World Vision partners with communities, local governments, and churches to overcome challenges and to improve the well-being of children. World Vision's Canadian Programs seeks to partner with community-based organizations and churches for the peace and well-being of children, families, and communities affected by poverty here at home.

The Waterloo Wellington Children’s Groundwater Festival offers hands-on activities, discussions, demonstrations, displays and exhibits that will challenge students to consider the importance of groundwater to them as individuals and to society at large.

Mighty Machines Showcase

The Mighty Machines Showcase is a family oriented community event that brings Mighty Machines to life, providing adults and kids a chance to see construction and other service vehicles up close.
